US$502.00*
The recorder with the article number: 1906-KUE built by Küng is a musical tool that is always fun to use every day.
This characteristic is due to the skilful combination of the above-average construction concept in fine tuning with the expressive possibilities of the rosewood material used.
This material impresses with its extraordinary advantages. The characteristics can be described as follows, whereby it is in the nature of things that sounds can only ever be inadequately described in words. Therefore, the sound of recorders is perceived and described slightly differently by each person: Rosewood: Very noble, pithy sound.
The scale
The geometry of the inner bore of the recorder is slightly cylindroconical. This type of bore gives the model its typical sound.
In principle, instruments with a wider bore sound warmer, fuller, more fundamental and therefore more suitable for ensembles than recorders with a narrower inner bore.
What music can the recorder be used for
Rosewood is ideal for instruments used in folk, popular music, dance songs and jazz.
Who is this recorder aimed at?
It follows that instruments made from rosewood are particularly suitable for ambitious amateurs and advanced players. An additional basic rule to bear in mind is that a high-quality instrument naturally makes learning more enjoyable than a seemingly inexpensive bargain.
The windway of the recorder
The windway is the area in the instrument headjoint where the air is moulded into a sheet of air. This sheet of air is the determining element of a recorder's sound.
At the labium, this sheet of air produces the fundamental vibration that generates the flute sound. The shape of the windway is therefore
extremely important
for the musical formability of the achievable sounds of the recorder. The windway of the Küng 1906-KUE recorder is constructed as follows: Straight, conical.Conically shaped windways accelerate the breathing air more than cylindrical ones. Windways are complex in their design and many parameters interact.
Fingering
The Küng 1906-KUE model is made in fingering: Baroque double hole.
Multi-part construction
The construction of an instrument has a fundamental influence on the way in which the recorder can be handled in terms of ease of assembly on the one hand and compact transport on the other. This is a point that should not be underestimated, especially when transporting larger (and sometimes several) instruments.
Experienced ensemble players can tell you a thing or two about this.
Packaging and accessories
The model is supplied as standard with a bag and useful accessories: Wiper rod, fingering chart, care instructions

Optional information on keys

Especially on larger instruments, some tone holes are ergonomically inaccessible for acoustic reasons. On such instruments, keys are fitted by the instrument maker to make playing easier or even possible in the first place.
The 1906-KUE instrument has the following keys: . This means that it can also be played with above-average ease by players with smaller hands.
